🏆Victory on the Bol d’Or Mirabaud in a sport catamaran 😃
The largest inland water race in the world, gathering more than 500 sailboats on Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
First Bol d’Or Mirabaud, first regatta as long (16h) and first victory 🥇all with my father Yvan Bourgnon, lord of the lake 😉
The race was particularly indecisive and nervously hard because of the little wind and its instability. Fortunately the wind was stronger at the mark of Le Bouveret (mark at the end of the lake, meaning half of the course), we managed to gain speed to catch up with our competitors as the night went on. This is the particularity and the magic of these great races on the lake where nothing is decided until the line is crossed.
